Recently returned from a cruise on regent seven seas navigator to the black sea, istanbul to athens, very interesting itinerary including the ukraine , russia, greece and turkey. Wonderful to sail through the bosphorus staights down the dardenalles passing istanbul at dusk. will never forget the experience. Hats off to Captain John McNeill who absolutely
made this cruise there appeared to be more than of him ,he was everywhere, and had time for everyone, what a
novelty "bagpipes" on embarkation (a suprise for some locals). As always food and service was excellent, alternate dining in the portofino restaurant which was first class, no problem in booking, much prefer the open seating policy. The entertainment was excellent, well done to John Barron cruise director and all his staff, highlighted by appearance of the russian black sea ensable. Regent do make every effort to make you feel part of the family and we were always welcomed "home" from the first to the last day upon boarding
