As my wife and I were determined to spend our actual Ruby Wedding Anniversary away from home, we were pleased to discover an advertisement for this cruise which appeared to fit the bill. How right we were, as we found this week-long cruise to be a delight from beginning to end. The scenery was breathtaking, the animals and sea creatures amazing, the on-board accommodation and service fantastic and the memories sufficient to last a lifetime! Not having visited this particular area before, we found the air bracing, as well as a little damp for the first couple of days. However the sun did shine upon us for most of the time, enabling us to see salmon, whales, eagles, sea otters and sea lions, to name but a few of the creatures awaiting us. The towns along the way were fascinating and all appeared to have their own particular uniqueness, reflecting past events (e.g. Gold Rush) and inhabitants(e.g. Russians). A delightful holiday with much to recommend it.
