Regent Reveals New Entertainment Programme

Regent Seven Seas have now completed a multi-million pound renovation of entertainment programmes on three of its ships. The upgrade includes the addition of new productions, professional ballroom dance teams and the largest live orchestra on any luxury cruise line.

“Our dynamic new entertainment programme offers exciting production shows featuring elegant ballroom dancing and pulse-pounding music with more energy, texture and variety,” said Lyn Farmer, director of entertainment and special events for Regent Seven Seas. “Our guests are thrilled at this new entertainment line-up.”

The popularity of ballroom dancing in both the
UK and USA has led to several of the shows on the cruises starring professional ballroom couples performing original choreography – showcasing swing, Latin and waltz, as well as offering complimentary dance lessons for cruisers.
The Regent Signature Orchestra will perform aboard Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Navigator. Other new shows include cabaret revues, feature productions and Breaking Up Is Hard To Do – the exciting musical with songs from Neil Sedaka. Regent will continue to offer speciality programmes such as the James Bond Martini Night and the popular Beatles Night.
